Arrive Delhi
After a late-evening arrival, you’ll transfer to your hotel. Delhi stands as the capital of modern India, though it is made up of seven ancient cities, spanning the period from the 11th to 20th centuries.

Red Fort
The most opulent Fort and Palace of the Mughal Empire. Its main gate (Lahore Gate) faces Chandni Chowk, the bustling and colorful market of the old city.

Raj Ghat
The impressive and emotional memorial to Mahatma Gandhi.

Mughal Garden
The famous Mughal Gardens is located in the premises of the Rashtrapati Bhavan - the official residence of the President of India. The building and gardens designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens span an area of about 320 acres that include Colourful flowering shrubs and European flower beds. The gardens comprise of the Rectangular Garden, Long Garden and the Circular Garden. The Rectangular Garden is the formal garden, which derived its treatment from the water-gardens which the Mughals brought into Delhi. The small flower beds, the four waterways and mown lawns produce a virtual paradise. The gardens are open to the public from February to March every year.

India Gate
It is primarily a memorial to the unknown soldier, which was Designed by Lutyens. The 42 metre high structure is a war memorial in honour of the soldiers who died during the second world war. The imposing structure from where stretch massive lush green lawns has an eternal flame (Amar Jawan Jyoti) to honour the memory of the unknown soldiers.

Qutub Minar
One of the fine examples of early afghan architecture is the Qutab Minar. A soaring tower of victory that was started in 1193, immediately after the defeat of the last hindu kingdom in Delhi.

Humayun Tomb
A Wonderful example of early Mughal Architecture, the Humayun's Tomb was built by the wife of Humayun, Haji Begum in the mid 16th century, this red sand stone structure is considered to be the predecessor of Taj Mahal.

Amber Palace
The Former Capital of Rajput kingdom. We step back in time as we are transported up the hill to the palace on brightly caparisoned elephants – true to the style of the Maharajas of the past. Inside we find lavish courtyards, beautifully decorated halls and a lovely Chamber of Mirrors.

City Palace
Museum with its fabulous displays of miniature paintings and traditional Rajasthani royal costumes and the lovely Palace of the Winds.

Jantar Mantar
An accurate observatory built in 1726.It contains 13 different instruments for calculating such things as the time of day, the altitudes of heavenly bodies, and the positions of constellations. Although the instruments look like modern sculpture, they are able to make calculations accurate to one second.

Sariska ( En Route)
Famous for the Sariska tiger reserve park is just 110 kms from Jaipur. This sanctuary can be visited year - round. There are estimated 25 tigers in Sariska and the number is said to be on increase. Apart from tigers this sanctuary also consists of leopards, hyenas, wild boars, blue bulls, sambars, spotted dear and around 300 hundred species of birds. The best way to visit the park is through jeep.

Ranthambore
Famous for the Tiger Reserve Park, Ranthambore can be visited on your way from Agra to Jaipur. (180 kms from Jaipur). A stay of 1 night, will give you opportunity to visit the jungles 2 times. There are two options for the jungle safaris, canter (open bus) and gypsy (open jeep). If you are planning to do gypsy safari, its highly advisable to book them in advance.

Ajmer (En Route)
Ajmer can be visited on the way from either Udaipur to Pushkar or Pushkar to Jaipur. The main attraction of this city is the Ajmer Sharif where the Urs festival is held every year according to the lunar calender. While in Ajmer one can also visit the Adhai - din - ka - jhonpra, Akbar Palace, Nasiyan Temple and many more interesting places.

Temples
Pushkar boasts temples, through few are as ancient pilgrimage site many were destroyed by Aurangzeb and subsequently rebuilt. The most famous is what is said to be the only temple in India dedicated to Brahma. It's marked by a red spire and over the entrance gateway is the Hans, or goose symbol, of Brahma, who is said to have personally chosen Pushkar as its site. The Rangji Temple chosen is also important. The one - hour trek up to the hilltop temple overlooking the lake is best made early in the morning; the view is magnificent.

Ghats
Numerous ghats run down to the lake, and pilgrims are constantly bathing in the lake's holy waters. If you wish to join them, do it with respect - remove your shoes, don't smoke and don't take photographs. This is not Varanasi and the pilgrims here can be very touchy about insensitive instruction by non - Hindus.

Return to Delhi
you’ll drive back to Delhi. The afternoon is free for you to explore the city on your own.
