Rajsamand Lake

About Rajsamand Lake
Rajsamand Lake was created by a dam constructed in 1660 by Maharana Jai Singh. There many ornamental arches and beautifully carved chhatries (cenotaphs) along the huge bund (embankment). It also has several interesting old inscriptions.
